Opening Night
Last night was an Actors Bridge first. We've had sold-out openings before. But, last night we had 18 people on a waiting list to get in. THAT has never happened!
It was a fabulous audience. BIG LOVE to the St. Augustine's family who turned out in force -- especially to the women of Magdalene -- I couldn't have asked for a better, more responsive audience.
Now, the conversation has begun. Stories begat stories. I heard so many compelling faith narratives after the show last night!! I'm excited to see where all this goes...
Our dear Father Charlie Strobel was there last night -- loved it and is bringing a group from the Campus for Human Development back to see it next week.
To me the greatest testament to the power of theatre is when folks return with a crowd.
Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make this show ROCK: my beautiful cast, my amazing crew and the fabulous writing team. But, most of all to my hometown for sharing your personal stories with me.
Here's me and the UNBELIEVABLE Betsy -- 2 of the 6 person writing team. I gotta get a shot of all of us, man.

Share Your Story
faith/doubt is all about stories.... it's Nashville's stories of epiphany, prophecy, hope and heartbreak.... the places where faith is gained and lost.
Your story is sacred. We would be honored if you would share it with us here and join our community conversation.
Peace.

faith/doubt begins
So, we're into our first week of rehearsal with faith/doubt, and I can't decide if the script is done or not. I keep hearing of stories and perspectives I haven't gotten yet... and I want to capture it all. But at some point I have to say: "this is the story we're telling... at least for now."
Today's Scene had a cover story about prophets among us... that's a little hard to turn down!
